Legacy of the Revolution: The Valentine-Varian House

Written by Lloyd Ultan, this is a history of the national landmark Valentine-Varian House constructed in 1758 and one of the City's oldest structures. During the Revolutionary War, the Valentine home was occupied by British, Hessian, and colonial troops. Today it is the home of The Museum of Bronx History and is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places.
