Children's Corner Learning Center
ANTHONY ROSS

In 1973, Anthony Ross relocated to Scottsdale, AZ where he oversaw the construction of over 100 child care centers under the Mary Moppet’s franchise. He moved back to his home state of Connecticut where the first child care center was built in Bridgeport, CT in 1976 called Sugar Plum. In 1990, Children’s Corner Learning Center was purchased, which dates back to 1952, in Scarsdale, NY. Standing today, there are ten locations serving families in the Bronx, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, and Fairfield Counties with over two hundred and fifty employees. In 2008, Children’s Corner Learning Center decided to expand into the Bronx with the Hutchinson Metro Center. Six years later, they are now building our second location in the Bronx at the Metro Center Atrium. Children’s Corner is also expanding in Westchester County with three more locations opening this year. Over the last 41 years, Children’s Corner have provided quality child care for over 1.3 million children and continues to strive to make a difference in their lives.

Original Energy
THE SINGER FAMILY

In 1928 Harry Singer started a little oil company pushing a cart of lube oil for the sewing machines in midtown Manhattan. After World War II, a new and exciting energy was coming to NYC called heating oil. Heating oil was the new clean, safe, and easy to deliver alternative to coal. Original became a leader in helping owners switch from coal to oil. Soon Saul Singer would join the family business and Original Energy grew to become one of the city’s premier oil companies. Today, NYC is going through another great change. Biofuels and natural gas are the new, clean, and easy to deliver alternative to heating oil. Once again, under the leadership of another generation of Singers, Original has become a leader in helping property managers and owners make the switch from expensive heating oil to cleaner and less expensive natural gas and biofuels. Original Energy has been proven to be an experienced, trustworthy and cost effective energy supplier.
